The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and soothing design of the office and the thoroughness of the providers is the best I've ever experienced (and I've been to many chiro's according to work location due to time restraints) from St.Louis to Springfield. I love that the staff can get me in, even for new patient appt, in such a prompt way AND that of the initial and subsequent visits, I've never sat in the waiting room area. My first visit with Dr. Kari surpassed my expectations. I sought the aid of Dr. Kari with hopes she could offer pregnancy-safe migraine relief as well as relief for the standard discomforts that the changes of pregnancy bring about. Dr. Kari truly listened to my concerns, asked questions, and didn't just shrug me off with the "it's all part of being pregnant" answer that is less than helpful when you can barely make it through the day with extreme headaches. Dr. Kari took the time to explain how subluxations contribute to discomfort and walked me through the steps of the initial visit and chiropractic care. Dr. Kari also provided me additional information on the Webster technique and how it helps during pregnancy. (What's that you say? The Webster Technique deals specifically with the way pregnancy changes the body and helps properly align the pelvis and sacrum to make sure the baby has room to maneuver and ideally prevent/minimize lower back/round ligament pain - a win-win in my book). The fact that Dr. Kari is certified in the Webster Technique was one of the reasons I chose to seek her help and I am very glad I did. Dr. Kari made sure I was aligned properly before the end of our visit which offered almost immediate relief for my headache. I slept much better that night and woke up the next day without a headache for the first time in three weeks. I have been seeing Dr. Kari for the past 3 months. My experience with her has been wonderful. She is very carrying and a true professional at her practice. I have had 3 separate injuries and she was able to have me functioning again properly, within a short period of time. People were amazed at the time of my recovery. The pain in my neck made driving the car very difficult. Each time I looked to the left or right I felt a pain in my neck. After visiting Dr. Kari, she immediately understood and started treating me. After just a few treatments I was able to turn my head both directions without discomfort. Walking from the car to the grocery store was also very painful. Once I could get a cart and lean on it, I could shop. After several treatments I can now walk and shop comfortably without the cart. When I first started seeing Dr. Kari I was having difficulties with my back, neck, arm, knee, and more recently, I have been having electrical shocks in my feet. I fell on the ice many years ago and I could not lift my left arm above my shoulder. I asked Dr. Kari if she could help. Within 2 minutes I heard a little pop and I now have full range of motion in my arm again. My back always hurt me and I had undergone surgery for my back pain. I also could not reach my toes while showering and had a hard time trying to pick something up off the floor. I can now touch my toes and bend my hips without pain. The muscles on both sides of my neck also hurt if I yawned or moved too quickly. Dr. Kari used ultrasound with Biofreeze, manipulation, heat, and massage and I no longer have the pain. My knee was also bothering me at night while I slept. Dr. Kari adjusted the knee and after a few short treatments, it no longer causes me any pain. Neuropathy is presently causing sharp pains in my feet. Dr. Kari is presently addressing this problem by using the same techniques, along with laser, and progress is being made. I still come back for a treatment every few weeks to keep myself in alignment. I'm a true believer of chiropractor and in Dr. Kari!
